Default Ripping Out My Larini

I'm taking the Larini Sports Exhaust out of my 07' Gallardo Spyder. Although it's the best sounding exhaust on the planet (in my opinion), it makes the car a pig at low RPMs terrible throttle response). After driving it, the dealer has agreed to give me a full refund.

I'm now thinking of trying a QuickSilver system. They make 2 for the 07' Spyder - the Sports and the Titanium SuperSports. Has anyone tried these on an 06' or 07' Spyder or Coupe (05' and earlier is a different system). If so, how do they sound and how is the throttle response?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm. Don't think that's the problem. I have both Larini and Quicksilver. Doubt one is going to give better throttle response than the other. they're just pipes, and both the same.

Most aftermarket exhaust for the Gallardo rob power. This one doesn't and it sounds great:

Default stock exhaust

why don't you have your dealer adjust the exhaust by pass to be on all the time. As long as your leaving your cats on there is no exhaust that will make any real difference.

I ran with the bypass mod for a couple of months. It sounds great at full throttle, but at idle and low revs it sounds awfull.

Did you have any computer error problems with this? I read on lambopower that a couple of people had issues with sensors that may or not have been a result of the override, I believe 2/3k miles later. Also to my understanding the 07's cannot be modded, they show an error immediately.

I would consider the mod with a switch allowing it to turn on/off providing that no sensors failures or errors.

I have heard the 07+ models will throw up a check engine light if you mod the exhaust system. I think the back pressure sensor is the culprit. There are ways to get around that, but I can't help you with that fix.
