Default Raising the Spoiler on 2008 Gallardo Spyder

I have been trying to look for the button to raise the spoiler of my Gallardo but without luck. Please help!

There is no button. It raises automatically dependent on your speed. Not sure what the setup is on a 2008 Gallardo, but on my 2004 car it raises to two different heights depending on your speed (not sure exactly what speeds they are - I'd need to check).

But take a careful look in your rear mirror when going slow when the spoiler is down, and then check the view again as you increase speed. (I think the first raised position is at about 100 KPH (60 MPH), and then it drops back at about 80 KPH. It changes height quite rapidly.

Uh, I had a 2004 and the car was not equipped with the hydraulic system to raise the front and I think it may not have even been an option. My 2006 is equipped and the button is in front of and just to the right of the shifter. I have a coupe, so the spyder location may be different. Read the manual to check.

If someone told you the ride height changes automatically I am pretty sure that is wrong. I never heard of such a thing and can assure you I have to press a button on my 2006, although it will automatically lower if you forget and drive over about 30 mph or so.

Hi Keith, I think you are referring to raising the front portion of the car. Yes I have that and the switch location is the same as the coupe. What I want to know is the spoiler (at the back where the back-up camera is installed) if we could raise it. Thanks

I think this would be a good feature. Sounds stupid but It would be nice to raise the spoiler when wiping down the car. I cannot fit my fat hands under the spoiler when it is down.

Yes I agree it would be nice feature. I had a Boxster S and it had a button you could raise it to wipe the car down but not on the G's yet.
