Default Purchasing Used Gallardo 04 tommorrow and need a little bit of help

Hello there new to the forum, handing over my hard earned cash tommorrow on a 2004 Gallardo, I think I have purchased at a very reasonable price, the car is mint, serviced and both the last 2 owners are local to my home,

My question is that when the car was started from cold there was a fan noise coming from the front offside corner and blowing quite loud as if the car had been driven 30 miles, is this normal that the fan will come on when cold.

Ps love the site and know i could prob search this answer but time is against me.

After driving the car today i was very pleased with the drive, I sold my last F430 Man last summer, the f430 was very difficult to drive as in clutch and heavy gearbox the gallardo seemed just perfect to drive and alot faster.

The fan on the G is very loud. This sounds normal. Also, if the A/C was running, it too is very loud... again, this is normal.

thanks for your replies, bought the car and love it, love the sat nav love the mp3 player, i love the ride no rattles anywhere i love everything better than the f430 except the noise on say 5000rpm plus that is the only place the f430 wins.

Got it in the garage now and said goodnite, very happy, Only prob i have noticed is that i started it on cold later and the revs were all over the place up and down awful in fact(on automatic choke) car hasnt been moved much in last 8 months by prevois owner and the petrol cap underneath is a bit gungy, Hopefully it will clear itself as i plan to use car as a daily drive.

Moving home in 3 weeks so do some pics at the new house (u will love the house cost 1.5m to built)

Steve

Steve
You should consider upgrading your exhaust system.

My (radiator ) fans do not come on until my car is warmed up, and they are loud. You might have the A/C on, check your manual and make sure the controls are in the correct position. Replace the fuel as well if it has been sitting for a while. I like mine as well, Ive put 2k on it in a couple of months...congrats!
