Hi, I'm new to the forums. I am almost ready to purchase my next exotic. Does anyone know how long the average wait is if I order a new Gallardo. Also, I heard that the Gallardo Is being updated for MY2008. I haven't spoken with my dealer yet, but how would I go about ordering a "future" model? Can I just tell him I want a 2008 SV (if it does come out) or would the limited edition models be reserved for prior L-Car owners first? I much prefer rear wheel drive, but I like the Gallardo styling over the F430 (which would be my other choice).

Thanks for your input, but I'm looking to get an 07 or 08 so that it has all the latest upgrades. I've heard that the older Gallardos had weaker clutches and the new 07s have better clutch plates if I remember correctly, not to mention a revised rear suspension, etc...

trust me....you wont notice any difference....
