Default Love My Roadster So Much I'm Gonna Sell It - Need Help Specing A Coupe

Like the title says, I'm going to order a 2008 - LP640 Coupe (December 2007 delivery), and trade in my Roadster. The reason I'm doing this is because I enjoy driving the LP640 too much. Unfortunately, the Roadster is not a car you can drive very often, or very far from home in South Florida. If it starts raining, your day is over. So, I have decided to trade "down" to a coupe.

The exterior color I have choosen is the new dary grey used by Lamboghini on its web site (check LP640 Coupe pics on Lamo Site). I am going to use the dark wheels and yellow calipers (same as the web site). I haven't decided what color interior to get. The one on the web site is a dark grey suede with the diamond stiching - I don't like it at all.

I was thinking the following combinations would look very good:

1) All black (driver's side perforated) with light grey stiching. Look at the interior pics of the LP640 Roadster on the Lambo site - they use the aforementioned style.

2) All wine red (driver's side perforated) with black stiching; or

3) Black bolsters (driver's side perforated) with a medium grey center and light grey stiching.
I'm leaning towards option number 3, but I am open to suggestions (my specs or yours) The only thing that is set is the exterior.

As far as options are concerned, my Roadster is pretty loaded and I'm going to do the same on the coupe.

What do you guys think?

Didn't you just buy the Roadster a few weeks ago?

Hell keep the Roadster and buy a coupe as well

The color you picked for the coupe is a great color I would prefer that over the yellow roadster IMO

Dark grey, black wheels, red calipers and red interior... red interior is so oldschool and newschool at the same time!

Default I Sold The Roadster On Friday

FOR A SMALL PROFIT!!! and it turns out that my dealer is getting a new LP640 Coupe delivered on Monday or Tuesday -- which I bought for around MSRP -- subject to a test drive. It's set up (color / interior / options) exactly like my Roadster. Pearl yellow exterior, black & yellow interior / upgraded wheels / and every option available. Even though I would have preferred to pick the interior and exterior myself, I like the pearl yellow (but was saving that color for my future SuperLeggera - which I was gonna get sometime in July -- the first one), and next week is alot better than January, 2008 (estimated delivery for a custom LP640 Coupe).

Now, I am going to custom order an SL or a Spyder in Titanium as my "everyday" Lamborghini, and the LP640 will be "the tuxedo in my closet." I love the picture of the grey / red and also saw a Spyder in grey / black & orange -- it was awesome.

The question now is -- should I get an SL or a Spyder (I will not buy both -- 2 Lambos is my limit)? I'm now leaning towards a Spyder so that when the weather is nice, I can put the top down. Its also such a pretty car!!!

I think that if I buy an SL I won't use it very much since its basically a wanna-be LP640. And when I want to drive the "race" car, I'll pick the LP everytime.

What do you guys think?

Good for you! Get the spyder. You're trading in a roadster so you obviously like the open air feel, it's just the practicality of not having a functional top that gets you. The spyder solves that problem. Either way enjoy!

Should be here tomorrow. The Spyder is Grigio (dark metallic grey) with a two-tone black and orange interior and the dark wheels. Wow, what a great car. I traded a white one in for the Roadster and was sorry immediately. My LP640 Coupe is on the way - I'm gonna use it when I'm in the mood for pure speed and power!

At this point, my collection is almost complete (subject to receiving my orders). I've got a black 599, a silver F430 Spyder (August delivery), a red 360 Challange Stradale, a yellow LP640 Coupe (deilvery this week), a dark grey Gallardo Spyder & a silver Flying Spur (a green Brooklands will replace the Spur early next year).

I've got room for one more car - what should it be???

P.S. My 360CS is in the shop getting Hyper-flows installed. When I get it back, I'll line all my cars up and take a picture to share with you guys
