Doesn't it simply SUCK to do stupid things? Especially when you know better but then just go "you know what, I think I can make it..." when you REALLY know you shouldn't be pushing it.
Man that blows...

It's very easy to damage these cars with the lack of visablility, I find that I ask someone to watch for me very often even driving into the garage. Not always a spotter around though. The rear camera helps a lot but doesn't help for the sides and front.
I marked up a rim on Friday by hitting a pothole just right or wrong, either way it marked the under edge of the rim. Man that hurts! Too bad about the damage, I hope the repairs are done to the same spec that Lambo shipped it with. We all feel for you indeed |

Right on, but it's a lot harder to say that to yourself when you've JUST gotten the thing AND it's minor. It is so funny the way the mind works ahaha. And it's not so much the actual damage to the car, so much as it is admitting to the physical proof of your own stupidity that gets you ahahaha.

As far as the bodyshop is concerned. The GM of the dealership (who has always been straight with me) saw the scrape and said I would never see the repair. If I don't like the outcome, there is a bodyshop I have used in the past (hit a cinder block in the middle of the road with the Spur and cracked up the front bumper) that does perfect work -- and this is a fairly straight-forward job. One question. Do you have a back-up camera on your Murciellago. If so, please resoinbd to my new thread. |

If rear visibility is a problem check these links:
http://www.lanefx.com/ This unit drops the side view mirrors when reverse is engaged. http://www.kptechnologies.com/ Custom made electronic modules. One of them can be used to drop the side view mirrors when reverse is engaged. |
