Default How many miles per year do you put on your Gallardo?

When I purchased my 2008 Gallardo Spyder last December, I envisioned it being a car I would drive maybe a few thousand miles per year. But, the car is actually more fun to drive on an open road and, surprisingly, easier to drive in traffic, than I originally envisioned. Now I'm thinking that 12,000 miles per year is more likely. Since I got the Gallardo, I seldom drive my 2 other cars (2008 S63 AMG and 2007 LR3).

How many miles do others put on their Gallardo?

For those who drive their car 5K or more miles per year, have you had any issues with the car?

Any issues with the E-gear if driven in frequent traffic?

This car is GREAT!

(1) 25K in 2 years.
(2) No, just gas, tires, and the occasional oil change.
(3) Sorry, can't help here - I drive a 6-spd.

5-7K miles per year, not great for keeping the price value, but hell I didn't buy it to let it collect dust and look good in my garage, I'm addicted to it.

Yeah it is a good question, as gasoline passes $4.00 per gallon. Lots of owners will be asking themselves what the hell they're doing.

From end of Dec 2008 when I bought my Gallardo till today, I already have 2,000 miles. So I guess I will be at least 10K to maybe 12K in 12 months. Just like Hawk362, I don't intend to collect dust either.

At over 8$ a gallon here, it's still for free out there
