Thumbs down high picth sound when pushing the gas pedal

HI
My brand new Gallardo is making a high-pitch sound when accelerating and it sounds like an awful whistling(high-pitch) sound which I don't think it is normal. I called my sales guy and he said all lambos do this. Is this normal? I think the noise is coming from air intake on the driver side and something is resonating?

It's the Flux Capacitor. It will quit when you hit 88 MPH.

Based on the sound, and only when you are pushing the gas, maybe the fuel pump??? Just a guess.

It is the pump sucking air on the intake. Per my Tech here at the dealership.

I get the same sound and been told this is normal from two different dealership techs. Thanks again to Rich Bell and Troy Lambo for hosting us at their first annual Michigan Lambo Track Day. By the way, got to spend some time with their tech and I'd take his word for it.

I had a very similar issue with my 06 Gallardo. It was described as an "intake whistle". At the 7500 mile service my dealer investigated the problem. From what I recall him saying, they found that the gasket between the throttle body and the intake plenum was slightly missaligned and interferring with the airflow through the throttle body. They trimmed away the excess. Now about 80% of the whistle is gone. I can still hear a little bit of the whistle when I get deeper into the throttle, but the annoying screech at partial throttle is gone.
