For 2006 upgrades include 20 more horsepower, retuned suspension, quickened steering ratio, sintered clutch, improved E gear, and baffled exhaust.

I test drove a current MY Gallardo last week and it was unbelievable.

The dealer was adamant that early reliability issues have all been addressed. A colleague of mine had a 2004 Gallardo for 18 months and the only problems he ever had were a faulty electric window and a faulty earth lead on the engine which caused it to drop a cylinder occasionally.

I have owned several 430's and a 599.. I currently have a Superleggera and I must say, in terms of fit and finish, the SL far exceeds the finish and detail of the F-cars.. You won't be disappointed!

I can't believe what I read! Lambo's being more reliable and better finished than F-s? Am I happy with that? Yes, for about 90 % I guess.

I thought the sintered clutch was only available for 6-speed cars and not e-gear?

You mentioned exhaust baffles. Did the change improve the sound of the exhaust or baffle it? Also would like to ask what year sounds the best 04, 06 0r 08?

Thanks Russ

There are other options besides OEM. My buddy has a LOC exhaust and I have a tubi on my G. The LOC exhaust sounds way meaner and probably louder than a 360.
