Default Gallardo parts shared with other cars

I didn't see another post on this, if so my appologies.

Does anyone have an idea of any shared parts that the Gallardo uses with an Audi or other car, such as consumables so your not always stuck with the Lamborghini pricing? Ie: Brake pads, oil filters, air filters etc..

The Gallardo and the R8 share only 15% of the same parts. Next years Gallardo is said to actually get parts from the R8, including suspension and the direct-injection system which would bump the factory HP from 520 to 550. But as for sharing oil filters and air filters, is highly unlikely at this time being the R8 is a 4.2L V8 platform for now. There are rumors of the next R8 to share the same V10 that is in the Gallardo just detuned to 500hp or less.

What I would like to know is will the OBDII/CAN diagnostic system act like an Audi that way perhaps we could convince Ross-Tech to extend their VAG-COM software to cover the R8 AND Gallardo. Really wish I could get a CAN diagnostic software package for the Gallardo!
