Default Gallardo OC Custom Exhaust video

Hi, I am a new member, have a 06 SE 6speed. I recently installed a Lamborghini Orange County custom exhaust. Here is a vid of it on the dyno. We netted an extra 10 hp and the car sounds great. Turn up the volume.

Thanks. This is my second aftermarket exhaust. The first one sounded great but lost 30whp on the dyno. This is a headzup for all of you 06 and up G owners, only one or two aftermarket systems increase power, most lose hp. A bypass valve is on the 06 exhaust unit that redirects all exhaust gas strait thru the tail pipes, avoiding the mufflers alltogether. Any aftermarket system with exhaust mufflers and no bypass will lose power. Also, for any 07 owners, Lamborghini has reprogramed its CEL function to detect backfires/backpressure, so you will probably get a CEL if you make any changes. No lights on my 06 and it does spit out a little fire.

Default Exhaust

Has anyone had any experience with the Quicksilver exhaust for the Gallardo. I assume, based on the information above, that since it has mufflers, the power will also be down. I would like to know. I originally wanted a Tubi until I found out about the HP. drain. Staight pipes are a little to loud for me, though I love the way they sound. Thanks for any info.

What are the two exhaust systems that increase power?
How do they sound?

... loud pipes save lives.

Thanks everyone! I have heard the quicksilver and it sounds great, would be a good choice for the 04/05 models. To the best of my knowledge, the OC and SP exhausts make a little extra power. Also, Reiter has an exhaust system with a bypass valve, just like the OEM setup, but imo it is over engineered and overweight. The OC county unit costs around 4k give or take.
An extra benifit of the OC is a big weight savings, 50 lbs off the back end of the car if you combine the exhaust with a cat delete!

Looks very, very nice. I noticed the small larger sections of pipe just before the tail pipes....what are those? Mini mufflers? Or you don't have any mufflers at all? Love it!!
