Default GALLARDO clutch problem..

Hi I bought a GALLARDO 04 MANUAL 3 months ago and when I drive it I feel the clutch is very hard.It make me very uncomfortable to drive around the city as gear changing is very offen...Now after some "uncomfortable" drivings it looks like the clutch has some problems. When I drive in high-gear(4th above) and suddenly release the gas then depress it back quickly the car started to shaking about 1-2 seconds, feels like clutch can't hold the gearbox very well..Anyone think the clutch going wear and I should bring the car to dealer's workshop for a check or it is quite normal?
Thanks.
JACK

For the very hard clutch, that doesn't sound normal at all.

For the shaking about 1-2 seconds, if you're at low RPM's, then that may be normal depending on if your car's warmed up or not. Most likely though, I'd say this isn't normal either.

I'm sure your local shop will be more than happy to give you a better, more accurate diagnosis.

doesnt sound like normal clutch wear. sounds like a throw out bearing or throw out release fork. i would recommend taking to a dealer to get checked out.

Sounds to me like the common problem of the clutch slipping.
Usually you can see this in 4th-5th gear. If you are in 4th or even 5th gear and simple get into the throttle you will notice that the RPMs jump around and there will most likely be a slight vibration.

If this is the case its your clutch disk not being able to hold the flywheel. This is normal happens with the friction material is almost gone.

So you'll be needed a clutch service here soon (new disk, pressure plate, throwout and pilot bearings.

Default 2005 Gallardo E Gear Vibration

I have replaced a few clutches in my 2005 E Gear Gallardo. On my last two returns I have found that the car produces a noticable vibration between 2200 rpms and 2900 rpms. Over 3000 rpms the vibration disappears. Has anyone had this problem and or found a solution to it?

Few grand at least; make sure to spend the extra and have them put in the sintered clutch.

Mine has that too, but it's a manual clutch - was replaced about 3k miles ago.

I think it's normal.
