Default "exhaust Variable Valve Timing Control"

Hi

I have a particular problem and thats is that nearest dealer is at 2000 KM
away

I have only 700KM and today I had CHECK ENGINE LIGHT in dashboard. Error on OBDII was P1367 and P1369, seems to be "EXHAUST VARIABLE VALVE TIMING CONTROL"

Engine work preety bad, missfires and stop imediately after start......

Are those problems related to exhaust vacuum valves or to the engine itself?

If are related to exhaust vacuum valves then I can check here at a local
service but if are much more complicated that require DIAGNOSTIC COMPUTER from dealer I must go to dealer

Maybe you can help me with ANY information so I can fix this in a local
service and avoid this trip to the dealer ?

Thank you very much
Catalin

If the "Engine work pretty bad" then I would go to a dealer for sure,no reason to risk more problems.. you should still be under warranty, the dealer is 2000km away!Where do you live? i think roadside assistance can help tow it but i don't know about 2000KM and judging by the metric system your not in the US so don't know how it works abroad, either way Good luck

Sorry for your situation. We had one similar to that, ended up being a broken camshaft - resulting in an engine replacement. I'd recommend not trying to start the engine anymore, and definitely have it towed to a dealer.

when you first fire up the engine, how is the RPM fluctuation before dying? Perhaps the catalyctic or ring has gone bad.
