Default Advise on Gallardo

Hi Guys

I'm buying my first Lambo Gall. Just a few questions I have

1) What are the common problems on them
2) I am planning to put a Tubi ex on it as soon as i get it

I ask these questions as my brother had the very first Gall in UK and 2 weeks into owning the car, the gear box failed. Went in for repair came back and a couple of days after that it failed agian. The second time it went in the changed the whole gear box under warranty. As now i have sold my 996 twin turbo 04 car
I am in the process of purchasing a 04 Gall (not too sure manual/E-gear) any kind of help would be appreciated.

Thanx

No problems in 1 year and 2000mi with a 2004 6 speed.
Except I had an engine cover screw back out and cause a scratch.
That was a recall item that should be fixed by now on any car you get.
Watch out for clutch wear on Egears. I hear they can be hard on the clutch if driven in stop and go traffic.
Go with a real car! Get a six speed!
P.S. I traded a 6 speed 2001 911turbo and I never looked back!
The G has no turbo lag, brilliant mid engine handling with a proper wishbone suspension (not struts) and looks great!
