Default 2004 Gallardo?

guys:

i have decided that i will purchase an '04 G over the new 911 turbo. i've never driven one, sat in one, nor do i know anyone that has one. do you recommend i look at one in detail first or is there no chance of me not liking it? it is absolutely gorgeous in pics...just wish it performed better.

but anways, it's going to be a weekend thing so hopefully it won't require too much maintainence.

questions: what do i need to watch out for on used models and what kind of price range would be considered a good deal? the ranges i see i pretty wide so i'd like to narrow it down. i prefer black or yellow i supposed...def not white or silver.

TIA.

You should be able to get a good low mileage 04 6 speed coming off a two year lease. I wouldn't pay more than $130K especially for yellow of which there are plenty of. Of course they are also coming off warranty too, but just make sure you have the software upgrades especially for the E-Gear which had it's problems.

Let's see how long it takes you to get one for $130k. That's seems a bit optimistic (for a nice one).

I think you can do better than $130K. Don't use E-Bay as a guide. Those prices are always going to be high and most don't sell there but are used for just advertising by the dealers.
