My name is chris. Im new to this fourm. I have always had a love for exotic cars especally lamborghini. This passion started at a very young age. I came from a lower middle class neighborhood so it would baffle me when i seen these cars. I would also think to myself how can these people afford them. I would also say to myself this car cost as much as the home i live in it really was amazing to me lol.
As i grew older it started to interest me more and more. So last year i decided i was going to figure out the secret to buying one of these amazing exotic cars. After reading many books i have learned a few keys to making it big,a few major things are ... entrepreneurial mindset, business, Investing (My favorite) and education. I am 19 years old. I have recently learned the stock maket. Starting to learn the real estate market for investing and buliding residual income. I am also looking to learn many other things such as website creation and app building (Big money in this market) . My goal everyday is to get closer to my lamborghini dreams. I feel it is a big goal but it will feel amazing when i reach it as many of you on this fourm know this feeling. I hope to meet more successful people on this site that share the same goals and interest.

Forget about making it rich in the stock market, it's a place to park, and hopefully grow earned income from your business vehicle. Real estate is okay if you don't mind 10 year boom and bust cycles, yeah allot of people make it rich, more get wiped out. Happens over and over again. I have no idea what a good business is today, all this internet stuff is mostly fluff that's easily duplicated. Tell me what Facebook contributes to the economy, or what real value it has? The epitome of hyped up worthlessness. IMO. |

Dear Chrisbiz4444,
There will always be new ways to make money. But, first and foremost, you have to love what you are doing and have a passion for it. The passion will give you the energy to excel past others who are also in your field and trying their best to make it. Richard Bach once said "Focus on your goals, and there is nothing that you cannot bend to your will". Another quote from who knows who: "Obstacles are those frightful things that get in your way when you take your eyes off your goals". What I say is this: Pick a few goals (a Lamborghini, a beautiful home, a diploma, a refined skill, whatever) and take at least one step towards your goals, each and every day. Ignore all detractors. If you can't go through an obstacle, find a way around it (there are ways around every obstacle, so be creative). Become an honorable man. Waste not a moment of your precious energy on negative emotions or actions (like getting even or casting aspersions). And always know that you will succeed. You will. If you love exotic cars and you are mechanically inclined, buy an old sports car and fix her up yourself (sweat equity). Then start trading up until you reach the one you really want. Of course, the one you really want will change over time, ha! In my experience, it 40% inspiration, 50% perspiration and 10% luck. In the business world you better have more than 10% luck going for you. More structured professions, yeah the 10% will get you by. I must be bored. I'm in the dreamers section! Yuck another 3 day week end, can't make no money that way.

I'm just speaking from experience (we all have different ways of making it in this world). Personally (and this just me speaking for myself) I would be bored beyond belief doing the kinds of things that are popular with making big money. I preferred lowly things like broadcast engineering (video, sound, lighting, power) and aviation (fly helicopters professionally as a side job). And I love those two "trades". I didn't go to college because I was too bored with the general studies part and just couldn't maintain my enthusiasm enough to get a degree. I just wasn't cut out for it. I could never be a banker, stock broker, Lawyer, doctor or any other big cheese.
But what do ya know, I've made a decent living, I've had tons of fun and I just got my third exotic. So, I'm just saying....... |

Doing what you love alone probably won't get you very far. If you put in effort in whatever you do, whether you love it or not, it can work for you. |
