I was just wondering: how to proceed with the A Car to winter storage? Where is the battery located? Is there any place specific in the car to use a battery tender or just plug the conectors directly to the battery?

you can plug in the tender to the battery. not sure where it is in the Aventador but the manual should indicate that. on the previous v12 models, the battery is inside the driver side fender, making access to it difficult.

you can get a battery tender that plugs into the cigarette lighter instead. look for it on ebay and amazon. i think they go for $90-140. search lamborghini battery tender / maintainer or ctek. they are both made by ctek

On my Murci, it was on the inside of the driver's side rear fender and the dealer installed a batterry tender with a plug-in power cord accessible in the engine bay. All I needed was a pwer cord extension to connect a wall socket to the batter tender power plug through the transparent engine cover.

in the Aventador there is a 12V socket(cigaret lighter) inside the boot space where u can put in a small battery charger. For larger battery chargers there is a + connection on the left side of the engine bay (in the black box at the lid hinge) and the negative is between the shock absorbers. The batterie is located behind the boot (same place as the gallardo) but less easy to reach.

Buy the c tek battery conditioner I actually plug this in after I park the back into garage every time.

You can buy one on eBay or amazon they put different logos on it as they oem for several manufacturers like Ferrrai, Lamborghini, Porsche etc..

I installed a tender on my Aventador. The work was $160 worth at the dealer in Orlando. CTEK was bought by me for $69 on ebay.com.
