Default Refinishing exhaust system cover

My exhaust cover looks like it's got 50K miles on it and I want to repaint it. Who has done it, and what's the best thing to use. Aluminum paint?

I would take it in and have it powder coated with high temp silver. That way it will look great for years.

Some of the powders are good for about 1,000 F.

If you are getting above these temperatures, I would consider ceramic coating.

Hmm Didn't think about that. It is fiberglass, will powder coat work on it?

I do not think that you can have that cover powdercoated I tink the coating would crack as that cover is pretty flexable,Dupont makes a high temp silver paint that would look pretty good.
