There are many aftermarket mufflers you can get that will help settle the noise down. Look at Summit Racing's website for straight through designs.
Do you get a lot of crackling when you decelerate? I did on mine and after awhile I got a bit sick of it. It did it due not having enough back pressure. Now what you could do to help with the sound is add more piping to your exhaust system. Make the tubes longer and that will also help a little. Your set up you have now is basically just straight out of the headers. ![]() http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Try adding some Burns Stainless race mufflers; I use one on my Radical, you can barely tell they're there weight-wise but they will quiet it down a little:
http://burnsstainless.com/UltraliteM...temuffler.html I'm going to be building a custom exhaust for my G this summer and will use those. Of course your issue will be the fact that you can't test a muffler out before buying it and welding it in to know if it will get things down to the level you want. ![]() |

How about a building a switchable exhaust straight-through/muffler (the Gallardo switches automatically).
Here are references to electrical switch valves: http://tinyurl.com/3d62yp http://tinyurl.com/2vjkhp and a manually operated one: http://tinyurl.com/ya6ewy Laust |
