Default Help....94 Vt .... No spark...

My 94 Vt has running fine until I went to re-start it one very hot day. It fired right up as it always did and then 1/2 down driveway shut off. Well the next day I cranked it and the 5 th try if fired... but 2-3 minutes later shut down. All other electric works and cranks fine. I smell gas but have no fire from either coil. The oil pressuse gauge has always hopped around at idel yet pegs out good at higher revs.. . I never thought much of it as some of my other older school toys do the same. Im wondering if there is a sensor that kill the juice if it think oil pressure or something else is wrong. I checked all the fuses. Got very busy with work and kinda set the issue aside. Well now I have the time and thought I would pick some fellow Lambo owners brains before I dive in. Thanks, Craig

Will check it out. Won't the car still run without alternator as it uses the battery. Then die after battery is drained becuse no chage from alternator??

Yes, it will run until the battery is drained. Then die because no hold charge from Alternator.

Question Some Details Please !

Dear Lamborghinisti,

Can you tell us what you checked and how you came to the conclusion it was the crank sensor.

The method and approach is of great value here.

A Diablo is like a hot tall thin blonde. Sooo seductive, you just keep putting up with her crap. Buying her high-heels or headers, you know she costs you a fortune. But riding her....oh soooo good!

Default Gut Feeling....

Its a car.. Needs spark, fuel and compression...
Mr. Evans went though her last year and has been bleesed with 3000 some mile over the Il. season. I knew my girl was tight and i smelled her gas..... It had to be something stuip as a sensor or short.

PS Geroge Evans is the man.... He helped me and talked to local guy who did repair..... THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
