Default Diablo 6.0 production numbers 2000/2001

Does anyone here have clues about the total Diablo 6.0 production numbers ?
Some people I talked to that are supposed to have inside info from the factory tell me roughly 200 pieces. Other sources indicate 400.
If you look at VINS in the registry (is it still updated ?) the "regular" production ends with VIN 12848 of a 6.0 in New Zealand. Could this be the last one ?
Looking at the 6.0 SE VIN's it seems that 2001 production of the SE took place parallel to the "regular" 6.0.
Last Vin# of the 6.0 SE I can find is 12887.
Given the fact that 6.0 SE #1 has VIN 12711 one should expect a number of 176 cars - 42 SE's = 134 6.0's to have been built alongside the SE.
But maybe I'm drawing too much conclusions out of the VIN numbers.
Is it correct to assume that Lamborghini has been using at least 12436 to 12887 for the 6.0 ?
If this is the case this would result in a minimum number of 450 Diablo's produced during 2000 and 2001 (including 2000 roadsters + GT of course)
So the 400 seems more likely than the 200, what do you guys think ?

Thanks for the link.

When looking at the vin data this number makes sense.
Did Lamborghini in the past always use all vin numbers in a complete sequence ? i.o.w. are all the sequence numbers used ?
What the guy I spoke to mentioned is that this was not the case reducing the number of 6.0 cars to a figure of around 180... he picked up his own 6.0 at the factory in 2000 and is regular buyer and visitor of Lamborghini so I guess he could be right as well.
The registry only mentions 49 known vin numbers, of course I know the registry is not pretending to be complete and is still a work in progress but nevertheless one would expect a more complete list if there are actually 337 6.0's out there for 6-7 years as mentioned on Lamboweb.
What also strikes me is that f.e. Diablo 6.0 #51 and #81 as listed in the registry are only 10 apart in sequence number...
