Red face Buying 2002 Murci next week - advice for a Lambo newbie?

Hello guys, I just purchased a 2002 Murci from Motorcars International (Blue with white interior). I am pretty nervous about this purchase, because unlike previous purchases (4 Ferraris, and 3 Porsches) I have never had a Lambo.

Previously all I ever heard about them was they were terribly unreliable and extremely expensive to fix. Can you guys give me some advice on costs for
upkeep on a Murci (2100 miles on this one). Clutch replacement times?

Does the car have to have belt replacement/engine removal crap like Ferraris do?

Can't wait to put her in the garage next to my F430!

Thanks guys

Mark

Thats a nice combo.
That blue has some purple hues to it which make very interesting to look at.

Congratulations on the purchase.

Dont forget that the Murci has some Audi technology. Reliability is so much better than the early days of Lamborghini.

You dont have to worry about belt service........its chain driven.

Clutch replacement all depends on you and the previous drivers. If they were bad, you will replace it sooner than later. For the most part, the clutch is not as fragile as in some exotics.

My recomendation is to get an IDEPENDENT PPI, if it meets your approval, drive the Murci like it was meant to be driven.

Best of luck.

Default My wife wants that car

David,
Congrats, and welcome to the board. I think I'm going to have to keep in touch with you. My wife wanted that specific car, and maybe one day I'll buy it from you!?

Also, where in Dallas are you located? We are coming down there for a Christening June 13th through the 16th, staying at the W across fromt he AA Center. PM me if you want to meet up. (But I know you pilots' schedules can be crazy)
