I'm not privvy to any secret information at all, but in reading AJ's posts earlier this year about the state of 6.0 depreciation, I'd guess that he took far less for it out of courtesy for the new owner than a 6.0SE is going to be worth say in three or four years. I'd wager that he took fair market value for what a STANDARD 6.0 would go for in great condition, and didn't get a premium for the se rarity and quality.
There will absolutely come a time when the 6.0SE is cherished by those hardcore Lambo fans that absolutely detest the Audi influence, and it will find itself selling at a premium versus a normal 6.0. But I'm willing to guess that time isn't here yet, and AJ's car sold at a standard 6.0's price tag with the mileage that was on it. And it had the sweet NOS setup already on it too...lucky buyer, he was in the right place at the right time I bet. |
