Why didn’t they have Alcantra on the Diablos for U.S. cars?

People in the US don't want to take care of interiors (no offense complete generality not intended for tender ears ) and Alcantra takes Major attention to stay nice or very serious bucks to replace once ir degrades. Wouldn't really be my first choice either because it really doesn't last or wear well.

In eaurope it seems like they abuse there cars compaired to the U.S.

Honestly SK the use patterns between EU and US are very different.

In the EU they seem to drive the cars far more and different(harder).

Some type of Cultural difference I think????????...it's always been like this and I never fully understood it.

I agree JR. Just look at the front bumpers of the cars. A lot more rock chips on EU cars

It really depends where you are.

Here's a story to illustrate what I mean:

Two guys I used to work with were at our Paris offices and one of the local guys was taking them to a customer site. They got to the road where the customers offices were. This place is notoriously hard to find parking so my friends were chatting away in the back expecting to drive around for a bit.

To their suprise the French driver shouts weh hey, Parking and slams the brakes. My friends look around see that there are no parking spaces around and assume this guy must be on crack. As they continue their conversation, the guy puts his car in reverse and slams into a car parked next to them, pushing it back. He then does the same to the car parked infront and calmly parks his car.

As they walk to the site he starts going on about how hard it is to find parking here. Noone will ever believe he found parking right infront of the customers site, etc.

Moral of the story. Dont buy a nice car in Paris. Never put your handbrake on.

Don't try thisin London. You'll probably have a metal impliment of some sort weged into your skull.

I would say we're more open minded about our choice in cars. Cars dont have to be the size of your house. We appreciate quircky of the wall, practical, individual, etc designs. We're not so "patriotic" about our cars. If its ****, we just won't buy it.

yes, its true that theres a big different in the way europeans treat their cars compared to americans. we actually race with them and almost drive them everyday (to go to work or whatever).
my opinion is that a lambo is supposed to race with and not standing in a garage for weeks
