You got answer of the jalpa-page

One former owner is known to me, the jalpa-registry on the jalpa-page is protected and only accessable for proven owners.

I wouldn't post the history in public.

It's easy-
Just go to Additional Options below where you would submit your reply and press the " Manage Attachments" tab which will allow to browse files. The only issue will be size of the attachment as the file size is limited.

D'oh!!! Of course I bought one a few weeks ago from the other side of the country and then this one pops up only about an hour away from me. I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered! Any day now!

Evans found one about a month ago that I intended to buy. He's rebuilding the engine and should be done soon. I tripped over this one on an obscure web sight about five pages back in Google. I had a trip to Cleveland the next day so I stopped by and looked at it. I Gave her a deposit. It was too good to walk away from. George Evans was very understanding and is happy to have another one to work on. It was an hour away for me too.

Added some pictures (as purchased) thanks lambotsavy. I'll add photos of engine rebuild also.

Thanks SlyCy

The exterior is as nice as it looks in the picture (a couple of scratches here and there). I'll send some pics of the interior once I get down to Evans. The leather shows typical wear but the dash is perfect.

The engine is a Euro. The only modification I've noticed is the elimination of the air intake and filter and add on of the filters you see in the photo. I don't have the original although the upper carb bodies are in the trunk. Notice the alternator is driven from the cam that would normally drive the air pump in the U.S.? Interesting. I'll try to get some better pictures of the drive soon.

I didn't try to start it. I wanted Evans to tear it down since the records show the last time it was touched was in 1998.

Ross, the Alt is driven by one cam, that same belt drives also the water pump and distributor.

The smog pump would be driven by the other cam.

Has anyone been able to successfully remove the smog pump, and have an "open" cam?
