Default Wrecked Silhouette in Japan

What a shame, I cannot understand how primitive and low minded one can be to let a car become so bad.
Looking at the corrossion also the engine must be a complete lost.

I mean it's a silhouette which was built in 54 or 55 examples not an espada built over 1200 times...

Unfortunately my japanese language skills are unsufficient to determine the VIN, it might be 40104

Realy sad to see . According to the ILR it could be #40104, an old US car.

I would buy it and restore it if I had a way to get it here. Right now the bid is at $4911.00 US. That is bad but I have seen a lot worst that have been restored to near perfect condition. It all comes at a price but it is a Silhouette!!!

The seller's comment is brief

"the car remained stationary for a long time. its
upholstery, exterior, engine, drivetrain etc are all need to fix. this car suits for your restore project.
license plate is attached but it will not be valid if it is sold"

I heard there is a countach slide in a playground in Japan...

I recently saw 40104 for sale in the U.S at Reina International Auto in Wisconsin it had been featured on carsonline. They had several pictures posted including the manufacturers tag clearly showing that it was 104. The asking price was $49,995 U.S. The car sold in Feb. or early March. The ad for this car says that it is a 1976, according to the ILR there are only two white production '76 Silhouettes with one being in Japan. Could this be 40028?

At that price it is worth buying for the wheels alone.

Sad I know, but those telephone dial wheels are so pretty.
