try CHELLE , short for Michelle i think. i belive she has that screenname here but i know she has that id on ferrarichat. her and her freind KIM have some spares, but i am not sure of what. she may be able to help you. i still get to play with my sold Urraco. its turning out to be a fantastic car. Jalpa is louder and faster though !!!!

Default Urraco Rims

Brenton,

thanks for the pics!!! The work really looks nice!!!

Yes, try 'Chelle and Kim - but, I don't think they have any spare rims. Never know though.

I agree w/ Paul, I thought the Italian Job in Melbourne had a set. Try asking Paul for other alternatives, he's in 'your neck of the woods'. :-)

Also try emailing Michael in Germany at collezuhause@t-online.de I bet he has a set!! Tell him I sent you (although right now he and I are dickering over a few parts :-).

You can also try GT Car Parts in Arizona in the States, they might have some, but wheels are probably a long shot. They're good on most else though!! You can contact them at (623) 780-2200 or FAX at (623) 780-1200. ASK FOR DAVE!! They will be less expensive than Michael.

I just picked up a single rim on eBay - they do come up from time to time, but yes its a painful waiting game.

I'll 'put my thinking cap on' and see if I can come up w/ any other ideas. As far as long shots that come to mind at the moment:

- Last year Alex at bluewater@iof.it told me he had a lead on a full set, but they never did materialize. As a long shot try him.

- Nick Papanicalau was selling 17" Bravo style replica rims for a while. I thought they looked a little big for the car, but several folks like them and Nick swears by the handling. I think they all sold, but he might have one set left in Australia (or he might have produced more). As a long shot you can try him at: nickpap63@yahoo.com.

Good luck!!

Bryan

Wellllllll.....that's a hard call, he might have paid that much for them 25 yrs ago???? that's not much of a ROI for storing them for that long.

I don't think Uracco wheels are growing on trees these days.

OTOH....watch out who you deal with in AUS......most are Legit, but there was a Con Artist that popped up on the Lambo List a few yrs ago.....I can't recall his name ( it's in the Old LTALK Archives, maybe Raymond remembers? ) but he scammed a few people hard.
