Default stebro racing exhaust

Received new exhaust, removed factory abomination. Appears mounting tabs for new system are quite different from OEM. Has anyone installed one of these, and if so, what are the easiest alterations, also i guess you discard the black heat sheild? Can post photos, as car is jacked in my garage.

Thank you in advance,

Eric.

Do not throw out the heat shield. The previous owner tossed mine and I wish I had it back. Put it in a box and store it in you attic. Or sell it to me...

Post pictures of the different tabs it will be easier for people to give input on. It will sound great once installed!!

That is what I like to hear. Someone recently offered me a large sum of money for my wheels because they bought one with aftermarket wheels. It is best to keep everything possible for resale.

Have a look at these photos (link below) maybe they can help. The top one is the OEM and the latter is the new Stebro. BTW I also kept everything that was changed or replaced for my Jalpa as well.

Some before pics Jalpa ELA12100

Default headers

Probably a stupid question, but can the headers be removed with engine in place?

No, I don't see where you want to have the place to remove them, even with the service opening you're not getting to the screws of the headers and then how to take it out since they are passing under the gearbox.
