Default Some Jalpa parts and info wanted

Hi there,

Be gentle as this is my first post, post collecting my first Lambo.

Can anyone suggest where I can hold of the A/C knob? Its the one with the snow-flake image. Or other cars that used it, as I cannot believe that its a Lamborghini specific part.

The second question I have is does anyone know what the original radio fitted to these cars was? I have a UK model circa 1985. It has a Panasonic head unit and some awful matching speakers in the door-card tops. There are also some speakers just behind the seats which are from Pioneer.
Needless to say I'd like to try and return to as close to original spec as I can.

Many thanks for any help and info.

I think most of the Lamborghini's from the mid-80's (Jalpa and Countach) used an Alpine AM/FM/Cassette unit. Not sure of the number. Maybe 7516? Raymond, any ideas?

I notice the snowflake knob for the Jalpa is listed as NLA. However, I wonder if its the same as the Countach? It shows at Lambosuff for $3.41

It's the same as on the Countach, made by Nardi Personal.

The Factory sent a different one for Eric's CT, no more Nardi.

Radio is not mentioned in the owners manual?
I have to check in the car on weekend.

Default radio#

Hi, I'm not sure if you ever got an answer to your question on the radio. I recently purchased an 85 jalpa, included in the paper work, owners manual and documentation is the stereo manual identifying it as an alpine 7145e. The manual is in several languages and also included a factory registration card that could be mailed back to alpine with the serial number. I am pretty confidant this is the original and standard for that year. It is a.m. / f.m. casset.
If their is any otrher info I can provide let me know
john

Default Alpine 7145e radio

It is an Alpine 7145e. The 84 Jalpa I just purchased had a CD unit installed several yeras ago, but the previous owner gave me the original Alpine 7145e AM/FM cassette player that he removed from the car. I still have the unit in my garage in the box the CD player came in. Hope that helps.
