Default Just purchased Jalpa emblems and badges

Just purchased Jalpa emblems and badges from Ebay for $202. US.

seller states they are new and even though my original emblems are OK. I feel with the repainting of my car next month, this would be a nice addition.

Did I pay too much. Anyone thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't think so. I came close to bidding on it for the Jalpa emblem for a spare incase someone took mine.

great buy !

i have been reading on Raymond's wonderful Jalpa site the period magazine articles. anybody else notice the cars had white or black bull side emblems that looked like stickers?

my old Jalpa 12250 had the black metal bulls added , i think they looked tasteful and were helpful as most people dont know what the hell the car is.

i will be needing 2 of the aluminum / silver bull emblems soon. (i am not too sure i would put stickers on the car.)

i am buying a euro car. seller is waiting on some parts to fix a small issue, then its mine! seller has been super to deal with, will update more later.

anybody know where to get emblems from, or if the early Jalpas did use some type of sticker on the side sail panels?

pics for reference.

The emblem can still be ordered from the factory, but I wouldn't put them onto the side since only these first cars had them there.
The series car had the jalpa badge only at the rear.

They weared white and black badges matching to the colour of the car. Silver and gold was done by the owners as far as I know.
The jalpa badges are made of brass, the bull sign of aluminium.

Very often you see gold badges on black cars, these are selfmade and look very good, I didn't like the white on mine too much since the white paint breaks off and then it looks cheap.
