Thanks Guys,

Thanks for the response on the car. I know finding an engine and
trans is a lot to ask and will probably not happen. In that case I
may end up parting out some of it and keeping most of the car just
as a backup and personal parts car.

I would love to rebuild it and eityher sell or use it it, but I am
not gifted enough to fabricate a ton of stuff to put a non-standard
engine and tranny in the car.

If anybody hears about an Lamborghini engine for sale 3.0 liter or
larger I am game.

I hope to get some more detailed photos before the car goes back in
storage for a few months, until I get out of Alaska and have a place
to put it.

Thanks
David

My mechanic has sent out emails to all his contacts in Europe, but believes also that this may be a difficult task. Don't give up hope yet as he expects responses by Friday. I will keep you updated.

Thanks Guys.

Another member and I have a possible deal in the works as well. So once it is a little more solid I will let everyone know, but I am still looking for an engine and tranny.

I will see the car on 14 Aug and post pictures once I get back to NJ!

Whilst I pretty much agree, he could put another Lamborghini engine in it.
FYI Eurospares have more than one site, the other is called www.usedferraris.net, where there is a P400 S Miura engine, gearbox and diff for sale.

It wouldn't be an easy job, but it would be a sweet ride.
