i saw this Jalpa sell yesterday for only $25k !?! looks in great shape and it looks like the 'buy it now' was hit very quickly, of course. anyone know about it and is the owner here on the forum? it was in north carolina, #FLA12217. what a great buy if the engine wasn't destroyed:

In 2003 this car had a strange aftermarket wing mounted, it sold really cheap, I wonder if this was by mistake (the buy it now price) or if the car has a problem. raymond, it was online for probably just a couple of hours...before it was purchased. not even enough time to call the seller. no pictures of the engine (if it even has one .... for $25k !).

I missed it, and I check ebay all the time. Someone sold it cheap for a reason. It doesn't have to be something wrong with the car, maybe April 15them the scared, or they needed the money for ? The last cheap one was 20k, and that one had a blown engine. The buyer got a great deal, and the seller is walking at least 5-10k lighter.

Just to give some insight, the seller did not know what he had. The buyer is going throught the process of buying (PPI, etc)
Looks like a very good buy if it all checks out.

The seller had it parked in front of two Gallardos & a Murci.

IN 2003 the car had an engine

If the price was an error the seller can for sure arrange something with ebay, if not who knows suddenly we have a desparate new Jalpa owner here on the forum...

Are you suggesting that there will be a Jalpa owner askinf a lot of mechanical questions due to the condition of the car?

I'm not suggesting anything, I only think that $25k is a hell of a low price, perhaps the car has issues or it's perfect like the title of the auction says.
Nobody knows at the moment...

I would agree with you. There is no description, only in the title. This one can go either way: great price for a great car, or great price for a clunker. Time will tell. i hope its the first one.
