as i asked elsewhere...anyone know what's the story on this? Jalpa being sold w/o engine or transmission?? it's like buying a race horse that has no legs !?

I remember asking the factory back in the late 80's, it was $12K usd for motor/trans. those days are long gone... at that time, I was inquiring for urraco bob out in the "junk yard". that car is now restored in japan. I have some old video footage of the junk yard, but the tape is so old not sure if I can play it anymore. |

If that Jalpa has the original toolkit and owners manual with it, thats worth about 1/2 what car is up to now!
Did you all see last week the Countach toolkit that sold for over $10,000.00??? Its identical to the Jalpa's except for the belts. Absolutely nuts!
