Here is what I did with the test tube holes (welded shut) and air pump holes in the cylinder head (machined a solid brass rod stub to reversibly block the holes, which then for two cylinders were used for EGT sensors). See picture.
Strage, I have a $42 tap for the exact same reasons. Jet Hot (and last I dealt with HPC) has some serious organizational flaws. It appears to be two organizations in one. The “phone department” (sales and marketing) appears to be in charge, takes your orders, gives advice, makes promises, takes your money and provides apologies for obvious screw-ups. The manufacturing department receives the parts, often ignores special instructions, coats the parts in a way that is most convenient for them, returns the parts to and invoices the customer. Last time I dealt with Jet Hot I wanted to coat a (turbocharger) turbine housing inside and outside. Well, they couldn’t do that. Then I provided them with a PO number for the exact same thing I had done a year earlier. Then they couldn’t take responsibility for the consequences such as destruction of the turbocharger. So I asked if they had practical experience in that happening … “no, but it could happen”, was the response. Fine I would as last time take the “risk” and sign a waiver (a form the already have). I was asked to mail special instructions with the housing, if some surfaces should not be coated. I sent instruction together with the part and even added some tape to visually indicate where not to coat. When they received the part I was called up by a manufacturing guy, saying there was a crack in the housing and they therefore could not coat it, because it might destroy the whole part at the elevated temperatures they used while coating. I was aware of the small (heat stress) crack, which had no functional effect on the turbine housing. He once again complained that the crack could expand and destroy the housing. I then asked for the maximum temperature they would be expose it to and it was 900 F. Having used the part extensively and measuring max EGTs at 1600 F. He didn’t grasp the logic, so I suggested sending him another waiver acknowledging the crack and take responsibility for whatever trouble that might cause during their coating process. Finally things were moving again. After some delay I received the part, but it was not coated (but it was cleaned) inside. After some discussions with the “phone department” they admitted that this was not according to the agreement and I could just send it in again with the few non-coating instructions I needed. After two time-consuming coating attempts I finally got the part back, being coated some places it shouldn’t have been coated, but I could live with cleaning it up myself. Then the bill arrived larger than expected. The manufacturing department had determined that this was a large turbocharger, which had a higher coating price. After once again talking with the “phone department” it turned out that they had no guidelines on how to classify a small or large turbocharger. I eventually managed to have them (for this once?) classify mine as small. In other words I am less than impressed with Jet Hot and will probably next time find a smaller outfit where one end of the company knows what the other end is doing. Laust

The poor girl wouldn't start when I bought her. Mike and George found a burnt amp meter. Well, Lamborghini has substituted a volt meter for the amp meter. I guess this is good since I don't need to worry about the amp meter burning out and shutting down my fun!

The Jalpa Parts manual shows the old "AMP" meter as part number: 6019055
Lambostuff shows that part superseded by the newer "VOLT" meter, part number: 6022077. Shows its the same unit used in the QV Countach and 25th anniversary models. Price is: $296.27.

I see Jalpa Mike got you the part number. I would only be able to send you to Evans at 614-471-7535. George found it for me $308.00 delivered. Lambostuff contact info is:
01-937-912-4243 or www.lambostuff.com I just ordered air boxes from them. I don't think they keep inventory so it will take a few weeks to get unless you expedite.
