Laust,
What is the offset on stock Jalpa rear wheels and front wheels...are they both 0 offset? So If i'm looking at aftermarket wheels, I should be looking for 5x120 zero off set wheels in 11" max rear and what....9" max wide fronts???? What do you think will clear? width wise. I plan on going with 18" wheels and a tire as close to stock height to avoid the up and down rubbing.

I don’t have the offset numbers handy. I think Raymond has posted them and maybe even has them on his website. I believe the offset is close to zero and maybe even negative, which is very good, since most aftermarket wheels have positive offset, meaning that they will fit with appropriately sized (and engineered) spacers.

However the front wheel has difficulty clearing (the inside of) the fender when turned 20-30 degrees, especially if the ground clearance is low and if the wheel is compressed as when going into a driveway at an angle.
I bet you, that some of the previously pictured Jalpas with wide front wheels cannot turn much more than 15 degrees ... but they look good.
