Default Got a 86 Jalpa today

Hello,

I just bought today a 1986 Jalpa #GLA12288 black/black. Never thought that this car is so much fun to drive. It goes smooth and I just tried it with perfect weather without the targa roof. Very reliable.

Beside this :

With the car came a service booklet, but this booklet is not for this chassis. Doesnt bother me at all, but if there is somebody out there owning Jalpa #FLA12189 - I HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL SERVICE BOOK. The car was delivered by MLG GMBH (Auto König) and should be Nero

Best regards,

Stefan

This car I know, Markus with the silver Jalpa with the silhouette wheels (FLA12231) had a look at it when he was on search for one. The car came originally from Atlanta...

In november 2000 I became the owner of a Jalpa 1985 nr 12189 which has been delivered to Germany (MLG GMBH (Auto König)) and bought from Germany too in a misserable state. Crashed under a van and with a blowed motor nr 12286. The car is black whith cream leather. I am painting the lether in dark red because the cream isn`t so much cream any longer. The motor has to be restored too, one cylinder in pieces. This day I become member of the Danish lambo-club, which have changed name into Lamborghini club Scandinavia.
According to mr Livianni Ossi working in automobili Lamborghini the car left the fabric on March 1985 and was delivered to their importer in Germany. The car was black with interior cream as when I got it.

Hello again,

I will upload some photos as soon as possible.

The car is in good state. The engine had an overhaul 2000km ago and runs fine, everything is on place and for the sunny drive its perfect enough.

Raymond : Do you have the email of the owner of FLA12189 ? So I will contact him for the service book. I think Markus looked at it some years ago ? Because, the former owner, who died some month ago put some cash in the car....

Best regards,

Stefan

Did Mr. Schumacher die?
Markus looked at this car when he was looking for one, I think he had almost 2 years till he restored his engine, so about 2 years ago 288 wasn't in a good state as Markus told me in Beilngries.

Hello Raymond,

on my information Mr. Schumacher died some month ago.And I bought the car from his widow. The car runs well and as I mentioned work was done for about 10.000 Euros. The paint is good, the only thing I have to do is doing something on the driver seat but the rest fits very well.

Time will show if the services were well done

On the jalpa homepage I have some pictures by Markus when he looked at 288 and had a test drive.
I suppose he saw the upcoming service bills and decided not to take it.

GLA12288 was advertized on mobile.de in 2006
