I would love to know what happened to my original Jalpa, Unfortunatley I did not keep any paper work on the car when sold in 89. I purchased it new from Royal Motor Car in Ft Lauderdale, but today in a hidden file I found this pic of it in front of a freinds house in Clearwater Fl. this pic was taken in 1988.

When I first bought that car at the green age of 23 yrs old I didn't even know or care at the time what a VIN # was. The problem was the dealer I sold it to in 89 has long been out of business and I have no way of contacting him for the VIN and the owner of Royal Motor Car went to prison in the late 80's for using the business to launder illegal money. So I'm stuck I guess, unless someone on this site owns an 86 Jalpa purchased somewhere in Florida after 89. The other tell tale is I put a 6K after market sound system, Sony 10 cd changer in the trunk, 6 Yamaha 6x9 speakers and powered by Fosgate power amps. If anyone knows about it, I would like to know where she is. Thanks.

If you still know the insurance company they might find out, or the regitration office, in Switzerland they have the records 20 years online.
