And shall be the only Jalpa without AC, but looking at the picture you can see the AC-Compressor in the engines V and the dryer in front of the battery...
But something is wrong, one aircollector is made in metal and from the urraco P300, the other one is the later Jalpa part, and the belt cover is missing. ![]()

Good catch Raymond! Didn't even notice that! You can see the airbox (nearest the firewall is metal (from a Urraco), and the one closest to the camera is the Fiberglass Jalpa unit.
Also, did you notice the choke assembly has been removed from the carbs? Also, is that a huge crack in the fiberglass panel behind the rear window? You can see this long "crack" just below the raised engine hatch..... I'm also wondering if the early Jalpa's didn't have the cover for the cam belt? My Jalpa (#12071) has the exact same pulley. My Smog pump was added when the car was brought over the to the USA. Here is what mine looks like:

These early cars had no airpump, on the later cars the airpump was attached on a wheel driven by the camshaft.
The choke was also not a standard equipement, swiss cars had a choke and a switch to control the ignition unit by retarding the spark, see TAV #4 and 5. ![]()

well you guys buy his car, and get a PPI and test drive ok?
here is my thread on Evans and that same car, and the thread was locked. thats all i have to say. and for the freaking record i was looking for a black on black euro car, it would have been a great find for the $28k he wanted then. one of you buy it for $25k.... thread : Dealer Refuses Ppi And Test Drive. Thoughts? |

That thread was unfortunately locked since many got too personal, you are absolutely wright about Evans. I wouldn't buy this car, too many things missing and too many unanswered questions, bits and dents on this particular example.
I've owned FLA12203 for 6 years/30k Km and can see almost immediately on every Jalpa if there is a big amount of money needed to bring it to a good driving state, there are more garage queens around than really drivers. As long as I had mine it was bullet proof, drove 2500km on one weekend to the german reunion, the new owner had less luck, first he had a fire because of a fuel leak and now it seems that he has blown a head gasket, bad luck and really not foreseen after I had it for that long period.

i know Raymond, well kept Lamborghinis from this era, no matter what the model number, are very hard to find in top condition anymore.
look at how few Urraco's there are that run and drive! |
