Default does any other Lambo share the bolt pattern w/ the Jalpa?

Lot's of Lamborghini take off's on Ebay and was wondering if any other of the newer bolt patterns willl fit the 5x120 Jalpa bolt pattern?

Yes, the 5*120 is the BMW bolt pattern, also on the CT.

The Gallardos have 5*135 = Audi...
About the Murci/Diablo I'm not sure, might be that they have still 5*120.

What can be done is using pattern change plates.

Emery,

Espadas (from what I've been told by owners) and Urracos also run 5x120 w/ 0 offset, but you won't get a larger wheel that way :-) I believe the newer cars are also 5 x120 and as Raymond says (and I think we covered in your Jalpa 18" wheel thread) there are plenty of aftermarket wheels intended for BMWs that carry the same bolt pattern. For example, the Compomotive VT is a Bravo style wheel in 17 inches available in a variety of widths/offsets ... There were pics of a Jalpa a few weeks back (I believe in your ear;lier thread) w/ 17" VTs; personally I thought they looked great.

Again as mentioned in the earlier thread what you need to be careful of is offset and width as well as rolling diameter and (IMO) the appearance of the car w/ ultra low profile tires. The Murci and Gallardo are 13" at the rear and run 18"/19" wheels w/ 35/30 aspect ratios. I think Laust was saying he wouldn't go much more than 10" at the rear (although w/ the rear fenders I would have expected a bit more), not sure what a 30 aspect ratio would look like?

Comments any Jalpa owners? What can be run safely at the front and rears? How does that match w/ the newer Lambos?

Best regards,

Bryan

Chad is dealing everything

BTW: do you know if the Diablo/Murci bolt pattern is still 5*120 like on the CT? I thought yes but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure what you are talking about Raymond (5* 120)? I can guess the 5 is the number of holes, but don't have a clue on the 120. Are all bolt holes on wheels positioned on the same center distance from the center of the wheel? Then the 120 would mean the distance apart? How's that...why didn't they didn't teach that in Eco 101. Man, $100,000 (1977 $$$) education wasted. You think I'd be prepared for questions like this.

I do know that the Diablo pattern is the same as my 1988 Corvette.

I used the original stock wheels I had in storage when I painted my car. I just had to put spacers on the rears to make it work.

Take a look at: https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

(First reference I found in a Google search :-) ).

For our cars, the 5 refers to the number of bolt holes and the 120 is 120mm, see the reference above to see how the measurement is made. 120mm is ~ 4.72 inches. The GM 5 bolt pattern (at least on the Corvette and I assume all reasonably recent GM cars) is 5 x 4.75 inches - so REAL close. I know an Espada owner who has been using GM wheels for several years w/ no problems. Sounds like you have been okay as well.

I'll let the engineers on the forum tackle whether the difference has any real world significance ... personally, I would think if the hub mates up we're okay :-)

For Emery's purposes it sounds like the Diablo bolt pattern is 5x120mm as expected.

Regards,

Bryan

I just had to look it up after my last post. This explains it all:

Lug Bolt Circle Calculator - http://www.skulte.com/boltcircle.html

3.937" (100mm) vs 3.744"
4" (101.6mm) vs 3.804"
4.25" (108mm) vs 4.042"
4.409" (112mm) vs 4.193"
4.5" (114.3mm) vs 4.280"
4.528" (115mm) vs 4.306"
4.724" (120mm) vs 4.493"
4.75" (120.6mm) vs 4.518"
5" (127mm) vs 4.755"
5.118" (130mm) vs 4.868"
5.5" (139.7mm) vs 5.231"
