Default Cost to repaint Jalpa

Has anyone repainted their Jalpa. Mine has its original paint, however the paint is fading slightly with signs of crows feet and cracking due to the original Italian lacquer paint. I took it to a detail place to see if they could buff out some of the imperfections and luckly I only allowed them to do the rear trunk as they made matters even worse. Any idea of cost and maybe someone can recommend a reputable company in the Tampa Fla area. Thanks in advance.

I would brace yourself. Probably 3k on the low side, 6k average! Unless it really looks bad, I would just enjoy it. I have seen some waxes work on paint that I thought was shot, you might try a few before you do it.

I have a friend from Sicily that painted my car and did a amazing job and because hes a friend, he treated me good. After nine years of sitting in a garage with the cover on it did'nt do the paint well. I had it repainted in Alfa red. And love it. My cars is two tone. With the engine cover and t-top in black. It was a $2500 job, but worth it. Some paint you can save with a good wax, but my front was faded and needed a new paint.
