Pretty amazing. The bumper has been painted, but the car looks good.

I saw the same thing Raymond. I looked at your website right after this Jalpa appeared on eBay and saw that the mileage has remained the same for 2 years! Right...... I'm thinking something fishy is going on here.

Another funny story. A friend of mine here in Washington tried to sell me his 1986 Ferrari 412 a few years back. It was gorgeous and had the rare 5 speed manual transmission. He was the 2nd owner and the car was previously owned by a Pebble Beach Judge. Anyhow, I passed on the car to purchase my Jalpa instead and he ended up selling the car to a person in California.

Low and behold, 2 years later the car pops up on eBay with lower miles on it then when I looked at 2 years earlier. Sheesh. Amazing how many dishonest people are out there.

Can it be registered in some states (here in the US) without the smog equipment (air-pump, carburetor boxes, cats, etc.)?

On the east cost we don't have to smog tests are cars. My car is euro spec, and I bought it from Todd Johnson in Minneapolis, MN on 4/13/06, and he bought it from Sznhui Cheng in California on 6/3/99

I looked at an Urraco a few years ago, that was on ebay.

ISTR it was silver, but I looked up the reg on the Lamborghini Registry and it used to be blue, the reg had changed and none of the door locks worked.

Funny how he never replied to any of my questions.

If you ever list something like a car on ebay, you would not believe the questions about the car. On a car like a Lamborghini, you could spend all day returning emails. If you see one that you are interested, it's best to call. If you send emails it's best to ask only a few questions, then ask again. When I return an email, and the guy ask me 20 questions, buy the time I am done I can only remeber 5 or 6.

Just checked with my archive...
2004: Odometer reading is in kilometeres 10,073 km
2006: picture on Ebay 10,093km

20km in 3 years is not really good, this means garage queen with a many issues, if you look at the pictures on eby you can see many dents, bent pieces etc.

otoh $38k is not too much, you can see the engine compartment is nice and clean as the cockpit seems to be.
Let's hope the new owner is not a dealer but a new happy driver and will not face dramatic mechanical issues...

What is missing is the AC-Temp knob and the spare wheel (?), the rest seems to be complete.

BTW: Steve Maman has a nice white/white Jalpa for sale now.

It's a ex-saudi car with only 768km on the odo, I have a picture of 2003, the seats still covered with plastic foil...
It's on the jalpa-homepage under sale section.
