Default Updating the look of a mid 90s Diablo lights & spoiler

Hi Chaps

Couple of quick questions - What's involved in removing the pop-up lights and replacing with the 300zx lights (I've seen the HiD versions which would be good). What are the costs involved?

Also how important is the rear wing on a Diablo - is it functional? I think the cars look more modern and the lines cleaner without them - would the car become airborn if I deleted it?

Thanks

Grant

The rear wing is not needed, the undercarriage is designed to create downforce.
Taking it off only takes 10mins, i'd suggest getting a new rear panel without holes to replace the one with the wing attached to it.

No idea about the lights, you'd probably need new fender panels, but i'm sure one of the parts dealers can tell you the difference

as for the lights is an easy job. uusing your existing fenders.. they just have to make brakets to hold the new lights.. and slight mod to the fender... i would do it.. and have done it to all my diablo's

Thanks guys.

Abunawafff have you got any pics of your headlights? Did you just use a regular bodyshop and what did they construct the fillets around the lights from, fiberglass, Aluminium?

Cheers

Grant
