I politely dissagree, I know of four 1984 Countachs that have suffered this same fate. My 1984 all original 2-valve Countach had a mere 4,700 Kms or 2,900 miles when it broke. I truly believe there was a bad batch of bearing assemblies produced at some point.
Terry said that he purchased his Pressure plate/Throughout bearing assembly second hand, it may be possible that this was one from that batch if it does exist. I had a collar machined from a high quality steel just in case my new assembly failed, I DO NOT WANT TO PAY ANOTHER $3,700.00 FOR A BEARING

. I know first hand Sincerely Vic
