I always search more information about this car, I found that the car was for sale in 1988 at " unique cars south " in Miami 3420 N.W. 7th St. Miami FL33140. contact Dave
Is this garage always exist ? Someone know it ?
It will be nice to find some information 20 years later.

The car was delivered to Switzerland (Bobnar is supposed), factory 31/07/1981 candy red with red interior.
After the car went in the USA, and returned in Europe in the early nineties, in 1990 the car had only cover 6800 Kms, it was sale near Lyon and stolen in 1991. It was found last year after 9 years of storage with other stolen cars. Now the car has 7200 Kms and is awaiting a better home (storage now at a scrap yard near Lyon awaiting solutions of different problems with insurance...).
the car was candy red like Bobnars first turbo.

Would you know the scrap yard name and town? Is it in Chauffailles? This used to be my "backyard".
I think the name Jolivet as possible owner is attached to that car. This name is very familiar to me. When I was a teen ager, I think this guy used to owned several lambos. He was working in Switzerland in the late 70s? He is the one who had a green Espada registered in Geneva at that time.

Countachqv
This car was for sale in chauffailles by Jolivet in the early nineties, a man from Villefranche bought it but the car was stolen. I saw the car in different scrapyard, now there's no rear wing only the hole in the body...I waiting more information expecting to see one day this car again on the road, the only good place for such a car.

Interesting. Countaches are not cars that a smart thief would easily steel. Too much attention and no chnace for quick and easy resale. Then he can get stuck with repairs bills !@
Would you know if the car has the small 40mm despised carbs? It is an S3 which is the less prized CT of all 400S but heck still a CT.
You got a PM
