Default LP400, LP400S, LP5000S throw out bearing

If anyone has a throwout bearing used, broken or whatever for these cars, I would like to buy it, borrow it, or whatever.
Lambo wants over $4100.00 for a new one, that is a joke.
I can reproduce it in a billet of steel, that will take care of breakage.
Price in the $6-700 range with new bearing.
First I need something to work with.
Thanks

We can have a look on Eric's 5l engine since everything is dismantled, there is for sure a producer stamp on it.
You were half a day to late, 5 hours ago I left the garage of my mechanic...

NO problem, if I remember correctly my mechanic said it should be no problem to get this bearing.
It's part 2121675 we're talking off, right?
Or 2109864, the lp500s has a different than the QV.

Anyway will call my mechanic on tuesday since monday is a holiday in central europe...

Raymond, almost forgot it is the 2109864 part number.

I also talked to MSD they said no problem around 10 days to do it.
Turned out I have a 7AL2 and 7AL3. They will not do the 7AL3 for a V12.

Holy Cow! $4100.00 for a bearing??? That is nuts!

That's what makes this chat site so wonderful! Folks like Chad (manufacturing the bearing), and Raymond (making stronger motor mounts for the Jalpa), that continue to provide services for all of us that make driving and enjoying these cars so great!

Thanks guys for your continued support!

Mike

Default Throw Out bearing

I have made no progress on the bearing holder, been so busy with many other projects. Projects like moving 2 homes into 1, buying a farm, selling this house, building 2 race Jaguar V12s, building a Duster race car, with a 900 HP Hemi in it. Selling another piece of properity I have.
The bearing housing/collar is on the work bench, just not being at the front of the line.
