Hi Marcel,

what is the VIN? I didn't have the time to see the car in person...

I suppose it's GLA12026 which was for sale on carclassic.com some years ago.

When Frank Sinatra got his Miura S in 1970, he said: “If you wanna be someone, buy Ferrari - If you are someone, you own a Lamborghini”.

Marcel,
Do you know if it really went for the asking price of 160' CHF?

I presume it went for the full asking price.
Car is in incredible good condition and simply worth the money. The previous owner was very, very aware of that.

And Raymond, I'll check the vin for you later.

Marcel

Thanks for your info Marcel.
Do you happen to also be informed about the Countach or the other Lambos at the Sportscar Auction in Geneva yesterday?

Default Countach prices set to rise

Dear All,

I concour... This has always been my thought process that Countach prices are on the move. Especially that the 40th Anniversary is approx 4 years away (you have just got to look at Miura prices this year!!! WOW!!).

I took the plunge this year into Countach (QV) ownership this year - I have to say the dream has lived up to the reality! It has also brought with it a massive new social circle of friends

It never fails to put a smile on your face!

Regards

Ian
p.s I thought I'd share this pic of my pride and joy with you all (it was taken at the Supercar celebration this year).

Default Countach

Thanks for your compliments!
To answer your question - both are!! (I'm a v lucky guy).

Unfortunately, the best pics which were also taken this year at the supercar celebration are too large and the wrong size to be posted on here.

If you pm me your email address it will be my pleasure to send you some more.

Regards

Ian

I am in the Silhouette right behind you in the first photo! C701 is a well known QV as I'm sure you are aware. I take it you have the Tiff Needell article from the 1980s? I am lucky enough to have an LP400 so hope the prices keep on rising!
