Default Countach LP400

As a fan and for curiosity reasons, I have been doing some research on the early Countachs, particularly the LP400 periscope cars. I know that the "early cars" had magnesium front and rear uprights in addition to a magnesium transmission case. My question is what cars would be considerded the early cars, that is up to what VIN number would designate the early cars? Also, I have seen there appears to be a difference in the defrost vents for early and late C/Ts. Does the use of the Espada defrost vents indicate the car is early and therefore one that has the above magnesium components? I look froward to hearing back from those "in the know".
