Tire gels will attract dust if the proper steps aren't taken to avoid it. Any water based dressing will eliminate the dust attraction issue you are having. After achieving the results you are after be sure to do a final wipe down of the tires to avoid slinging, they should be dry when you are done. Even if you plan on using a gel, the tires should be dry to the touch. If you overapply a silicone based dressing, or gel you will end up with very nasty tires (a lot of the population falls into that category).

The most common mistake made in this industry by pro's and diyer's alike is over usage of product. Just about every detailing product should fall under a "less is more" mantra.

Water based dressings that last and look great are.

Zaino z16 zainostore.com

303 aerospace protect (the more applications the higher shine, great protection for all rubber plastics and other surfaces) Vinyl & Rubber Care

Finish Kares #108 (actually replaces 303 in my arsenal for quite some time.) finishkareusa.com

Meguairs Hyper dressing is also very good to have around, it's the only one listed so sar that is dilutable to alter the look. At 1:1 with water its one of the highest gloss, yet still classy looking dressings out there. Trouble is, it's not very durable. it can be diluted up to 4:1

Einmann Fabrik tire dressing lasts, spreads very well and looks very impressive.Tire Dressings
