I recently had a similar warning light come on today. After connecting the the ODB port, I was met with the following error codes.

P0227: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit Low (Low Input Throttle position signal, fault activation range >81 degrees.

P1226: Throttle malfunction detected by ECU Bank 2

I believe the error reading was a fluke because the car been running great, kept in a garage with Air Conditioning and I happen to inadvertantly hit the gas while the car was starting up..

I reset the ECU and the car ran fine with no more errors.
