About the LOOKS.. I got a few looks now and then in my Porsche, especially when I was filling it up at the gas station, but what I am seeing now with my Gallardo is anything short of borderline embarrasing.

People will do all kinds of funny things to get a close up look (not that I blame them, I did the same thing before I owned one). What I find funny is the way people get so excited about the car. They all seem to be smiling so it must be a good thing!

The other thing that can be a little tricky is when people ask you have much it cost, which I would rather they didn't. I have found the average Joe has no idea. I usually say something like "enough to keep me working for another 10 years", and they reply that must mean it cost about 150K huh! Well at that point I just say yeah your getting close, and try to leave it at that.

My neighbor pinned me down the other day, and said tell me really what did that set you back, so I told him and he just went nuts. He could not believe it and then told me I was nuts and I haven't seen him since. Oh well as long as my wife still loves me!
